About Us
At Big Picture Conferences (BPC), we believe connection gives people meaning and purpose in their lives. We love to make connections happen by creating the events you love to attend.
We are dedicated to the production of annual conferences and networking events for the Canadian hospitality industry. BPC owns and operates several hotel investment conferences, the largest being the Canadian Hotel Investment Conference and the Western Canadian Lodging Conference.
We deliver turnkey events by developing program content, organizing quality speakers, and coordinating marketing services while managing venue arrangements, registrations, sponsorship sales and finances. From lights to mics we take care of the menu, we love our work, acting as “friendly administrators” who get stuff done.
In 2021, BPC acquired the Economic Club of Canada, Canada’s national podium of record, as well as Canadian Lodging News, subsequently relaunched as STAY Magazine, a digital publication providing news and expert insights to stakeholders in the Canadian hotel sector.
Over the last 20 years, we have also acted as a third-party planner for associations and corporations to produce events and conferences for their members and community.
Our Companies
Big Picture Conferences proudly owns and operates the Economic Club of Canada, a renowned platform for fostering meaningful dialogue on critical economic issues impacting Canada today, as well as STAY Magazine, a leading digital trade publication dedicated to the Canadian lodging and hospitality industry.
